vocabulary

Interface - a surface regarded as the common boundary of two bodies, spaces, or phases.
Synonyms -  mingle, fuse, tie in, unite, combine.
Antonyms - divide, separate
The three girls were interfacing by their similar personalities. 

Expedition - an excursion, journey, or voyage made for some specific purpose, as of war or exploration.
Synonyms - journey, adventure, voyage, mission, safari.
Antonyms -  halt, delay, blockage.
I successfully freed my dog from the pound, last night, in my spontaneous expedition

Frantic - desperate or wild with excitement, passion, fear, pain, etc.; frenzied.
Synonyms -  dangerous, insane, hectic, crazy.
Antonyms - calm, collected, peaceful, composed. 
The girl who was choking on a grape frantically whaled he arms through the air.

Cacophony - harsh discordance of sound; dissonance.
Synonyms - discord, noise.
Antonyms - silence, quiet. 
At the party last night, there was a cacophony of laughter, music, and loud voices.

Impervious - not permitting penetration or passage.
Synonyms - resistant, impassive, immune.
Antonyms -  allowed, permission.
My "girls only" blanket fort is impervious to boys.

Looming -  mirage in which objects below the horizon seem to be raised above their true positions; to appear, often imposingly.
Synonyms - overshadow, emerge.
Antonyms - true appearance. 
Antioch alumni have created a college-revival fund to prevent the looming closure.

Bemusement - to bewilder or confuse; absent-mindedness.
Synonyms - daydream, abstraction.
Antonyms - organization, sense.
The bemusement children did nothing but daydream in class.

Vulnerable - open to attack.
Synonyms - accessible, exposed, tender.
Antonyms - closed, protected, safe.
The art major was vulnerable to the history teacher.
