I chose the movie "Into the Wild" to relate to the Uglies. I chose this movie for pretty much one reason. I think parts of this movie can relate to Tally's journey to find Shay. Now, in Into the Wild, the man chooses to leave his life behind to live in the wild. Which is obviously different from Tally's decision. Tally goes only to find her friend so she can become a pretty. But, I mean, Tally IS going into the wild for this. The mans name is Chris, and Chris wants to live his life in the wild. He has nothing to lose, because it's what he wants. Tally also goes into the wild because she has nothing to lose. Tally has nothing to lose because "special circumstances" took everything away from her. Both characters do what they have to in order to get what they want. And they both must survive by themselves. Also, Chris and Tally both begin to have imaginary conversations with themselves. Along the way, they become very lonely...but that comes with the journey to their dreams.
