government control

The Government controls us in many, many different ways. They control our media and even some information we receive from our media. However, they keep pushing - wanting even more control. You probably remember the Stop Internet Piracy Act (SOPA) and it's sister bill, PROTECT IP ACT (PIPA). Through this, the Government wanted to further more control us by censoring information from the internet. 115,000 websites participated in the protest, and 50,000 of those websites went completely offline. Thankfully, our protests paid off! But who is to say it wont happen again? Or something bigger/worse? I feel like our Government's thirst for power/control will continue to grow, until our freedoms are very, very limited.
